In Chengdu, the first city in Western China that has built metro, rail transit is leading the urban development. Chengdu out-paces other cities with the over 400km rail transit under construction, with the mileage exceeding 600km by 2025 and basically shaping a half-hour rail transit network. Xindu District is expected to follow the new development concept, and work to optimize the central part, and reform the northern part of Chengdu, and seek to shape a rail transit industrial ecosystem featuring well-balanced integration and sound circulation.
Xu Xingguo, on behalf of the CPC Xindu District Committee and the district government, extended a warm congratulation to the opening of the summit. According to him, as Chengdu works to build a national center city mirroring the new development concept in a comprehensive way, the rail transit, aerodynamic, and modern logistics will enjoy rapid development as three strategic emerging industries. Among which, the rail transit industrial park of CRRC exists as part and parcel of the “One School, One Headquarters, and Two Bases” of Chengdu rail transit. The settlement of the CRRC project was followed by a host of supporting industrial enterprises, thus the rail transit industrial ecosystem gradually taking shape. Xindu District will stay committed to the industrial chain, the top links of innovation chain, and key areas, implement the strategy of the rail transit industrial ecosystem featuring “Big Integration, Big Upgrade, and Big Driver”, aiming for a faster development of the rail transit industry.

The development trajectory and practices of the rail transit industrial ecosystem of Xindu have gathered much spotlight during the summit. It’s the consensus among these experts that, as an important part of the “One School, One Headquarters, and Two Bases” of Chengdu rail transit, the rail transit industrial park of CRRC in Shibantan Town of Xindu District is well-poised to enjoy faster growth by embracing the new round of development opportunities.
Zheng Ziqiang, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Xindu District Committee and Minister of the Publicity Department, and Deputy District Mayor Liu Qing also attended the summit.
